< Back to overview Mounting the stove guard-sensor Gorilla®-stove to headroom-hoods

The intelligent stove guard sensor Gorilla®-stove can easily be "clipped" to cooker hoods, so it can regularly check for flammable situations on the stove surface. It can also easily be fitted to headroom-hoods.

Generally, the stove guard sensor Gorilla®-stove can be "clipped" with its magnet to metal cooker hoods.
For non - metallic hoods a self-adhesive metal plate is included.

The image below shows schematically the side-view of two different headroom-hoods mounted on a wall.
The manufacturers of headroom-hoods known by us recommend, that the bottom edge of the headroom-hood for electrical stoves should be mounted 35-60cm above the stove-surface, in most cases a height of 50 cm is recommended.

The sensor Gorilla-stove can be fitted at the place indicated with the arrow.
Please mount the sensor near to the middle of the hood and consider also a minimum distance of 10 centimeter to lamps.

The Sensor will automatically adjust itself to this position using the "question beeps" as explained in the user manual.
